Mont Alto, Pa.- Christendom opened its 2025–26 season with a 47–31 loss to Penn State Mont Alto in a defensive battle.
The Crusaders shot just 23.3% from the field and 26.7% from three, struggling to find rhythm offensively despite strong effort on the boards, where they out-rebounded Mont Alto 40–34.
Edmund Thomas led Christendom with 10 points and 10 rebounds, earning a double-double. Michael Vander Woude added 7 points and 11 rebounds, while Bobby Vander Woude contributed 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in a full 40-minute effort.
Christendom's 26 turnovers proved costly, allowing Mont Alto to control the tempo and pull away in the second half.
