The Lady Crusaders traveled to Washington Adventist University on Thursday. They fell to the Shock 7-1 in the first game of their double header. Annemarie Speer batted in the one Crusader run of the game. WAU's Courtney Jenkins led the Shock's offense with 5 RBIs, including a grand slam in the bottom of the 5th inning. Becca Byrne and Sophie Adams each pitched 3 innings for the Crusaders, Becca taking the loss.
Game 2
Washington Adventist's pitcher Aaliyah Stone held the Lady Crusaders to 5 hits and 2 runs in the second game. The Lady Crusader's fell 14-2 to the Shock. Raven Williams led WAU with 4 hits and 4 RBIs. Sophie Adams pitched 4 innings for the Crusaders and hit a single to drive in one of the two runs for Christendom.
The Lady Crusaders look to bounce back Saturday, March 17 at Valley Forge.
