Front Royal, Va.- Christendom Volleyball took on Crown College in a doubleheader on Friday night, where they fell in 4 sets in both games. 

Game 1

The Crusaders battled hard in their first matchup of the day against Crown College but came up short in a 3–1 loss, with set scores of 25–20, 25–15, 22–25, and 25–18.

After dropping the first two sets, the Crusaders showed resilience in the third, rallying to take a 25–22 win behind improved passing and net play. However, Crown responded in the fourth to close out the match.

Serenity Fedoryka led the Crusaders' attack with 18 kills on a .200 hitting percentage, continuing her consistent offensive presence. Lucy Stahl added 6 kills while also contributing significantly on defense with 19 digs. Elisabeth Reese turned in a strong all-around performance, recording 28 assists and 20 digs, while Aimie Simpson led the back row with 21 digs.

Game 2

The Christendom Crusaders women's volleyball team put up a strong fight in their second meeting of the day with Crown College but ultimately fell 3–1, with set scores of 25–18, 18–25, 25–20, and 25–21.
 
After dropping the first set, the Crusaders responded with energy and precision in the second, taking it 25–18 to even the match. However, Crown managed to edge out the next two sets despite Christendom's scrappy defensive effort and extended rallies.
 
Offensively, Lucy Stahl led the way with 8 kills, while Lucy Pennefather added 6 kills on a .125 hitting percentage. Serenity Fedoryka contributed another efficient performance at the net, hitting .214 and providing steady offensive production.
 
Reese once again delivered a strong all-around performance, tallying 31 assists and 21 digs. Defensively, Stahl anchored the back row with 22 digs, while Aimie Simpson added 20 to keep rallies alive throughout the match.
 
Up Next: With the loss, Christendom moves to 5–15 on the season. The Crusaders will close out their regular season on the road against Patrick Henry College on Monday, October 27.
